Maanaseegan

Maanaseegan (real name: Muhammad Rafiq; born 24 January 1980) is a Tamil writer, educator, and literary speaker from Uthamapalayam in Theni district. He serves as a professor in the Department of Tamil at Hajee Karutha Rowther Howdia College, Uthamapalayam. He writes across several genres, including short stories, poetry, essays, and novels, and regularly delivers lectures on classical and modern literature. His novels include Moondram Pirai and Megalai. He also coordinates literary events through the Andril Ilakkiya Sutram organisation.
